About Us

Our History

Since our inception, our focus has been to identify and acquire underutilized, but strategically located surface positions in the heart of the Delaware Basin, and subsequently deploy our land as a resource to energy and broader industry in the region. We completed our formative transaction in October 2021 through the acquisition of Hanging H Ranch, which included over 71,000 surface acres and 4,000 gross mineral acres in Loving and Reeves Counties, Texas.

More recently, we completed a series of acquisitions adding an incremental 148,000 surface acres in Loving, Winkler and Andrews Counties, Texas and Lea County, New Mexico. Today, we manage over 220,000 surface acres and actively seek opportunities to partner with operators and developers looking to capitalize on the resources and economic benefits of our land position.

Our Mission and Vision

At LandBridge, we are dedicated to responsibly managing and utilizing our land and resources to advance energy development and industrial growth. Our mission is to drive innovation and economic success. We are committed to delivering long-term value to our stakeholders and contributing to a sustainable future.

Sustainability with Innovative Approach

We are constantly evaluating potential projects and activities that will foster a more sustainable future, including water recycling hubs, beneficial reuse for produced water, and solid waste and reclamation facilities. We have also initiated solar and power storage developments through site identification, system design, and permitting.

In order to facilitate innovation while promoting responsible land management, our contracts include remediation requirements that protect our land and ensure that at the end of the contract term, our land is available for use outside of its previously contracted function.
